Working in the forest.
Through cutting the wood in the forest as a beaver and by discussing the ethics of the action i remembered something from childhood.
There were three birch trees growing in our garden. One day me and my brothers took hammers and started to hit one or two of the trees. I don’t know exactly why but possibly because of the absurdity that lies in the action and the result. The trees were precious and ofcourse we were aware that the parents and grandmother would be really angry for this. This factor actually made it more funny, even hilarious, so we laughed out loud while destroying the surface of the tree. Later when the grandmother found out she wanted to beat us with the branches as it was in custom, but we climbed the same tree and she couldn’t get us. We stayed on the tree until she calmed down.
Years later all the three birches were cut down because they started to grow close to the electric lines. And few years after that they removed the electric lines away and put new ones to totally other place.
